Prenatal Yoga 4 week Series (copy)

During pregnancy the body is constantly changing and with Prenatal Yoga we will explore various methods to stay balanced and strong during this period of transition. Modifications will be offered making this class suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
Prenatal yoga is a safe and effective practice approved by most physicians during pregnancy. It is also a great way to physically, mentally and emotionally nourish yourself and prepare for the changes and challenges of becoming a new mother.
Class starts with breathing techniques that can be utilized during pregnancy and labor to help calm the mind. There will also be an emphasis on toning the pelvic floor and its importance for pregnancy, delivery and long term health. We practice pregnancy-appropriate sun salutations and standing yoga forms. We will include time for relaxation to round out your experience.
